The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an engaging individual to provide early childhood education services including the design, documentation and implementation of programs for children and families.  

As an Early Childhood Educator (Diploma), you will engage in critical reflection that informs ongoing programs, teaching strategies and relationships with children and families. You will involve families in the design and review of programs, and the development of learning plans and associated learning activities and establish learning assessments and identify learning outcomes for children.

About You

We are seeking an individual who holds a Diploma in Children’s Services recognised by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and a minimum two (2) years’ experience in an early childhood setting.

You will have the following skills and experience;

  • Theoretical understanding of how children grow and learn, with demonstrated skills in implementing an approved curriculum.
  • Knowledge of the National early childhood regulations, standards, approved curriculum and policies.
  • Demonstrated skills in building respectful relationships with children, families, staff and external stakeholders.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits

This is a fixed term, part time position working 40 hours per fortnight until 18 December 2026. As the centre does not operate during NSW school holidays, this is a term-time position only.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $74,360.83 gross per annum (paid pro rata), comprising of:

  • $1,276.80 per week base salary (paid pro rata)
  • $153.22 per week superannuation (calculated at 12% and paid pro rata)
