The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and nurturing individual who will undertake a vocational education qualification in early childhood education and learn a variety of functions and activities by participating as a team member in a Childhood Education Team.
As a Children Services Trainee, you will assist in providing early childhood education services by supporting and educating children and contributing to the implementation and documentation of programs for children and their families. You will practise open communication and feedback with families about children’s programs, learning outcomes, health, well-being, safety and nutrition, while following established protocols and procedures for responding to child protection issues, health, hygiene and child well-being.

About You
We are seeking an individual who demonstrates a broad interest in early childhood education.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Good written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Benefits
This is a fixed term, full time position working 38 hours per week for a period of two (2) years.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $28,071.68 to $48,187.78 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $482.00 to $827.40 per week base salary
- $57.84 to $99.29 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
Remuneration for this position is dependent upon the age and level of schooling achieved by the successful candidate.
