The Opportunity
We’re seeking a highly organised individual to provide administrative, technical, and research support to our Water and Sewerage Services team.
As the Water and Sewer Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting professional staff by compiling data and statistics for reports, research papers, and records. You’ll also be responsible for preparing and managing Notices, Orders, and Certificates, as well as coordinating agendas and documenting minutes for both internal and external committee meetings.

About You
We are seeking an individual who a Certificate IV in Business Administration or related discipline and has three (3) years recent and relevant work experience in administration.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Advanced word processing skills (Microsoft Work) and ability to develop templates and macros according to organisational style guides and standards.
- Demonstrated skills in priortising high pressure or high-risk work tasks and activities.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated minute taking skills, assisting with creation of written response to external stakeholders and the development of procedures.
- Ability to research and apply relevant policies, procedures and legislation to formulate responses accurately to internal and external stakeholders.
Benefits
This is a permanent full time position working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $83,725.82 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,437.60 per week base salary
- $172.51 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
