About the role:
An exciting new role has become available for a TAC L2P Project worker. The TAC L2P program is a supported driver education program for young people who have obtained their Learners Permit and do not have access to the support and resources necessary to achieve the 120 hours of driving experience, as required under the Graduated Licensing System in Victoria in order to obtain their probationary drivers licence.
About you:
We are looking for a passionate and community focused worker with a commitment to assist disadvantaged young people to get the support they need to get their probationary drivers licence. You will:
- Support disadvantaged young people achieve 120 hours driving experience
- Recruitment of volunteer mentors
- Support a team of volunteer mentors drivers
- Advocate safe and lawful driving practice among younger drivers.
The successful candidate will have a strong ability to engage with all sectors of the community including young people, families, schools, community organisations and local government. You will also have experience in project management, establishing processes and systems and program promotion.
