The role:
Cater Care Services are seeking a Utility All rounder with Handyman knowledge to join our mining village operation located in Eneabba, 3 hours North of Perth. This is a permanent full time role on a 2:1 roster. You will be required to complete housekeeping/kitchen hand duties week 1 & Handyman duties week 2, as well assist the broader utility team where required. This is a drive in drive out mine site. You will be reimbursed fuel costs should you choose to drive to site OR a bus ticket will be purchased for you to travel from Perth.
This role would suit a utility all rounder who is looking for a change, has handyman knowledge and seeking a versatile role.

What this role involves:
- Handyman duties - replacing locks/door handles/washers and general camp maintenance
- Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
- Monitoring the wastewater treatment plant, generators and RO plant
- Utility duties - Housekeeping and Kitchen Hand
- Load / unload truck on delivery day
- Gardening & Grounds Work
Other utility duties required including:
- Kitchen hand duties - assist with basic food prep and significant dishwashing
- Dining room duties - maintain cleanliness, stock and crib food levels
- Housekeeping duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds
- Common area cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
What we require from you:
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Forklift licence (highly desirable)
- National Police Clearance within 6 months, or willing to obtain
- Previous experience as a utility all rounder and knowledge or experience as a handyman
- Ability to work well with other team members
- Commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
- Motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to pass a pre employment medical + drug & alcohol screening
- Contactable references
- Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
