The role:
- Dual position Utility duties & Bus driving
- Split shifts - 10 hr days 0500-1430 + 1700-1800
- Full Time position
- MANUAL - MR License required (25 Seater)
- Full uniform, all meals, accommodation, flights/travel provided
Cater Care Services seeks to appoint an engaging hospitality professional for a full time, 2:1, Utility All Rounder/Bus Driver roles. The majority of the workload is utility duties, with 1-2 hours of bus driving per day (relevant bus driving licences & experience required)
What this role involves any/all of the following:
- Kitchen hand duties - assist with basic food prep and significant dishwashing
- Dining room duties - maintain cleanliness, stock and crib food levels
- Housekeeping duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds
- Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
- Laundry Services - the washing, drying & sorting of linen and other items
- Mine Site Cleaning - general, ablution and mine site offices cleaning
- Bar & retail duties - serving residents in the camp bar and shop areas
- Bus driving - driving residents to/from site and airport
What we require from you:
- Must hold a valid Manual MR licence (25 Seater)
- Hospitality experience, particularly within kitchen and housekeeping operations
- RSA (highly desirable)
- A National Police Clearance within 6 months, or willing to obtain
- Ability to work well with other team members
- A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
- A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Adherence to first-class food & general safety practices
- Ability to understand and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
