We are looking for a passionate individual to join our Fostering Futures team. The Behaviour Support Specialist, with support from leadership, will play an integral role in the PSP team to provide expert clinical and therapeutic consultation and develop behaviour support plans and strategies to achieve positive behaviours in children and young people and support carer to implement these.
This is a permanent part time position based in the Illawarra area, working 22.8 hours per week.
The salary range for this position is between $53.73/hour - $58.10/hour + Salary packaging + Superannuation.

Our requirements to provide care
- Bachelor degree/undergraduate degree Psychology, Social Work, or Special education
- Behaviour Support expertise in developing Behaviour Support Plans where strategies involve restrictive practices and implementing and monitoring of plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Conduct thorough behavioural assessments and functional analyses to identify the underlying factors contributing to challenging behaviours in children and young people.
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends
- A current Driver's licence
