This is a permanent part-time role based in Wollongong, initially for 3 days per week however there is scope for increasing days depending on skillset.
- Consistently and accurately process the end-to-end fortnightly payroll cycle
- Assist with compiling data and information on CPI increases, annual minimum wage increases, and decisions applied to relevant workplace instruments
- Data entry into LMS for all relevant employee records, courses and policy information, as part of the onboarding processes
- Enter relevant data into the HRIS, maintaining a high level of data integrity
- Accurately interpret Organisational Policy, Modern Awards, and the CatholicCare Enterprise Agreement to ensure they are translated into entitlements through the payroll function
- Ensure compliance with all payroll statutory requirements
- Undertake specific project work as part of the strategic direction of the People & Culture team
- At least 2-3 years of payroll-related experience
- Proven experience in using Payroll and HRIS systems
- Proven experience in executing all payroll functions (end-to-end), including policy and workplace instrument interpretations
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role and environment
