At CatholicCare Wollongong, we’re looking for Community Support Workers who are compassionate, reliable, and ready to support people who are ageing or living with a disability. What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting clients with personal care, grooming, and daily living tasks
  • Assisting with light cleaning, shopping, and meal preparation
  • Providing medication support and social companionship
  • Promoting independence and wellbeing through tailored strategies
  • Documenting and reporting changes in client health and support needs

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or similar
  • Be available to work Monday to Friday with a finish time of 7:00pm 
  • Genuine desire to support people with a disability and/or who are ageing
  • Effective communication and a commitment to person-centred care
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Check, Working with Children Check, and Criminal History Check
  • Driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
