Floating Coordinator - Early Childhood Education and Care

 

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and motivated Floating ECEC Coordinator to join our team. This is a crucial role in providing environments that value children and support their learning through play.

The Floating Coordinator will provide effective and compliant support for the ECEC Services including but not limited to, education and care, staffing, financial management and administrative duties. They are also responsible for the backfill of leave and supporting and mentoring service Coordinators in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of programs consistent with current legislative frameworks. This role will also support leadership staff in upcoming projects to support service delivery.

  • Pay rate: $43-45 per hour + Worker Retention Payment (commensurate with qualifications and experience)

What you bring to the role 

  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in education and or care of children and leading a team
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Paid (employee) Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check
  • Current unencumbered Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and recovers quickly from disruptions and shifting circumstances
  • An ability to approach problems with a solutions-focused mindset and sustained motivation
  • Demonstrated persistence and a positive attitude when faced with challenges and setbacks.
