- Accurately process the end-to-end fortnightly payroll cycle
- Maintain accurate employee records including in the LMS and HRIS as part of as part of onboarding and other processes
- Compile data for annual wage increases and relevant workplace instrument changes
- Interpret Organisational Policy, Awards, and the CatholicCare Enterprise Agreement to ensure correct application of entitlements
- Provide advice to managers and staff on payroll-related queries and entitlements
- Ensure compliance with all statutory payroll requirements
- Contribute to P&C operational tasks as well as support People & Culture projects.
- At least 2-3 years of payroll-related experience, including full end-to-end processing
- Experience in using Payroll and HRIS systems
- Proven experience in executing all payroll functions (end-to-end), including policy and workplace instrument interpretations
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous experience working in a similar role - working as part of a team and autonomously.
It will be highly regarded if you have had experience in supporting the implementation of a new HRIS which is planned for 2026.
