About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader – Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Services to oversee our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) and Early Learning Centre (ELC) programs across the Northern Illawarra/Macarthur Region.
In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership and operational management of services, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant regulatory requirements. You will lead and support a team of educators to deliver high‑quality, inclusive education and care that meets the needs of children and aligns with the expectations of families and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and review high quality early education and care programs
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of educators, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture
- Ensure services operate in compliance with the NQF standards, state regulations, and organisational policies
- Maintain safe, inclusive and supportive environments that prioritise children's wellbeing
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with families, schools and communities.
About You
You are a confident, resilient and collaborative Leader who brings strong early education and care expertise alongside sound commercial and operational judgement.
You are motivated by improving outcomes for children and families, building capable teams and contributing to a mission-driven organisation. You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Education and Care including OSHC and or ELC services
- Proven experience leading, developing and managing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of the Early Childhood, Education and Care sector and current reforms
- Demonstrated ability to balance quality service with financial sustainability
- Diploma-level or higher tertiary qualification in Early Childhood, Education and Care or a related field
- NESA conditional or provisional accreditation (essential)
