About the Role
As a Case Work Support Officer, your mission will be to provide comprehensive support to Case Managers, empowering them to deliver exceptional case management services. We are currently looking for two casuals to join our team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Offering administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth operations, including managing records and coordinating meetings.
- Facilitating meaningful family interactions and supervising visits to foster bonds between children and their families.
- Assisting with home visits and crafting insightful reports to guide case planning and decision-making.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay informed about best practices and legislative changes in child protection.
In your role, you will not only support the immediate needs of children and families but will also contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within CatholicCare.
About You
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who embodies our values and is eager to make a lasting impact. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum Certificate III qualification in community services, social work, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of child development, trauma, and the challenges faced by marginalized families.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- A proactive approach to learning and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- A valid NSW Driver's License and current Working with Children clearance.
