Families Together – Practitioner (Multiple Positions Available)
About the Role
As a Families Together Practitioner, you will deliver intensive, home-based casework to families experiencing complex challenges.
Managing a caseload, you will provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive and child-centred support that strengthens families and improves outcomes for children.
You will work closely with families through home visits and direct engagement, supporting case planning and goal setting, and providing advocacy, service coordination, and practical and therapeutic interventions.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new team and service establishment, where your input will help shape how the program operates locally.
- Position: Families Together Practitioner
- Pay rate: $94,788.72 p.a.
- Hours per week: 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday), flexible start and finish times, apply
- Position type: Permanent Full Time
- Location: Campbelltown, Wingecarribee, Camden, Southern Highlands

What You Bring to the Role
You are a capable practitioner committed to child safety and supporting families to thrive.
You will bring:
- A Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services or a related field
- Demonstrated 1-2 years' experience delivering intensive casework with children and families
- Strong understanding of trauma, child protection and complex needs
- Ability to assess and respond to risk and child safety concerns
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills
- Confidence using case management systems
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel across Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions
