Families Together – Family Support Worker (Multiple Positions Available)
About the Role
As a Families Together Family Support Worker, you will provide practical, in-home support to families experiencing complex challenges. Working alongside the Practitioner, you will help implement case plans, build routines, strengthen parenting confidence, and create safer, more stable home environments for children.
You will support engagement through home visits, modelling positive parenting, assisting with service navigation, and reinforcing therapeutic and goal-based interventions.
This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a newly established service, where you will play a key role in shaping practice and supporting strong outcomes for children and families.
- Position: Families Together – Family Support Worker
- Pay rate: Salary range $38.65 - $41.45 per hour (depending on experience)
- Hours per week: between 16 - 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with flexibility in start and finish times required
- Position type: Permanent Part Time
- Location: Campbelltown/Camden/Southern Highlands/Wingecarribee

What You Bring to the Role
You are a compassionate, practical and reliable support worker who is committed to child safety and helping families thrive in everyday life.
You will bring:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, Early Childhood or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience providing practical in-home or community-based family support
- Understanding of child safety, trauma, and family vulnerability
- Ability to follow case plans and work under guidance of a Practitioner
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build trust with families in complex environments
- Confidence documenting observations and updating case records
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel across Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions
