Role details:

  • Position: ELC Diploma Educator
  • Location: Shellharbour
  • Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday) – 8-month Maximum Term Contract
  • Pay rate: $38.23 per hour (incl. Worker Retention Payment)

What You Bring to the Role

  • A Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and child protection requirements
  • A child-safe mindset and a genuine commitment to supporting children’s wellbeing and development
  • Proficiency in time management and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willing to obtain)
  • NSW Working with Children Check 
  • Completion of Child Safe training (e.g. Understanding Child Safety and Responding to Harm), or willingness to complete prior to commencement
