Regional Support Coordinator - Early Childhood Education and Care (Mat Leave Cover)
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and capable Regional Support Coordinator to join our ECEC team supporting OSHC services across the Macarthur region on a fixed-term basis. This dynamic role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality, compliant and responsive service delivery through operational support, workforce coordination and mentoring of educators and service leaders.
The Regional Support Coordinator provides leave backfill across Coordinator and Responsible Person roles, supports recruitment and onboarding activities, and assists services with rostering, workforce planning, compliance, audits and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also works closely with Coordinators and educators to strengthen child-centred, play-based practice aligned with the National Quality Framework, EYLF and My Time, Our Place.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their leadership capability and broaden their operational experience across multiple services. Working closely with leadership teams, the successful candidate will gain valuable exposure to workforce coordination, service operations, compliance and quality improvement, supporting future career progression within the ECEC sector.
- Pay rate: $42-45 per hour + Worker Retention Payment (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
- Hours per week: 38
- Position type: Full Time (12-month max term contract)

What you bring to the role
- Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in education and care services, including experience leading or acting in a Coordinator or Responsible Person capacity
- Demonstrated experience in workforce coordination, rostering, and managing competing operational priorities across multiple services or teams
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, EYLF and My Time, Our Place
- Experience supporting compliance, audits, quality improvement processes, and staff mentoring
- Highly developed communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Paid (employee) Working With Children Check
- Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel across services
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to respond effectively to changing operational needs
