Finance Officer

As our Finance Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our finance function. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll work across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and month-end processing to support the financial operations of a large community services organisation.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Processing accounts payable invoices and supplier payments
  • Raising customer invoices and supporting accounts receivable activities
  • Performing bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end processes, journals and reporting
  • Responding to finance enquiries from managers and employees.

 

About you

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or similar finance administration role
  • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Experience performing reconciliations and supporting month-end activities
  • Experience using finance systems, ideally TechnologyOne
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and strong problem-solving skills
