About the role:

As we proudly approach the opening of our brand-new, ultra-modern Early Learning Centre in Campbelltown, we have a permanent-part-time opportunity for a personable Family and Community Engagement Officer to join our foundational team. The successful candidate will be a welcoming, responsive first point of contact for families from the enquiry stage, through to enrolment and beyond!

If successful, you will work closely with the ELC Director and our lovely team of Educators for 30 hours per fortnight. 

 

What you'll be doing:

Duties vary and are suited to those who love communicating, organising and working within a fast-paced environment. To list a few:

  • Supporting families through enquiries, enrolments and centre tours.
  • Build strong relationships with families and the local community.
  • Coordinate family events, information sessions and community activities.
  • Maintain accurate records to support service delivery.
  • Gather feedback to enhance the experience of children and families.  

What we offer you:

  • $40.49 to $43.42 per hour dependent upon qualification and experience.

What you bring to the role:

  • Relevant qualification and or experience within Early Childhood Education and Care, Community Services, Social Science, Family Support, Communications or a related discipline is desired. 
  • Completed and ongoing maintenance of mandatory Child safety & Protection training. 
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check.
  • A current First Aid Certificate (desired).
  • Ability to show initiative, be responsive and use sound judgement. 
  • A warm, personable, family-centred approach.
