About the role:
Offering multiple casual or part-time opportunities as an OSHC Educator within our Edmondson Park team, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing learning opportunities for school-age children within our before and after school care program.
You will work closely with the OSHC Coordinator to prepare and implement exciting programming and activities that stimulate curiosity and encourage exploration. Your creativity & energy will foster an engaging environment where children feel safe and motivated to learn.
Whether you are currently studying toward a career in childcare, teaching or have a passion for positively contributing to the lives of children, this role is for you!
What you'll be doing:
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging and safe play-based programs.
- Create and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for children.
- Deliver fun, meaningful activities that inspire creativity, connection and support children to learn.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and school staff.
- Support children through homework or social needs.
What we offer you:
- Part-time hourly rate of between $28.81 - $32.47 dependent upon qualification and experience.
- Casual staff receive an extra 25% casual loading allowance.

What you bring to the role:
- Completed and ongoing maintenance of mandatory Child safety & Protection training.
- A qualification in Children's Services or working toward (desirable)
- A current NSW Working with Children Check.
- A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in delivering quality care of children (desired, not required)
- A passion for working with children and enhancing their education journey.
