We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and motivated OSHC Coordinator to join our team at our Ruse location. This is a crucial role in fostering an environment that values children and supports their learning through play.
 
The OSHC Coordinator will also be flexible in assisting in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of programs across OSHC Services.
 
We are looking for a Coordinator who holds experience in the following areas:
  • Community engagement with the school, including regular meetings with the principal
  • First-name communication with school staff and participation in school events
  • Maintaining relationships through genuine, respectful community focus
  • Has extensive experience with children with diverse learning needs and trauma-informed knowledge
  • Maintaining relationships with families through engagement and communication
  • Holds a calm, caring and bubbly approach
  • Able to lead a fantastic team through day-to-day operational practices
This is a part-time position with 25 hours per week. The salary range for this role is $43.28 - $47.55 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

What you will need 

  • Minimum Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in education and/or care of children
  • Completed appropriate Child Protection training – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk (CHCPRT001)
  • Current First Aid Certificate – HLTAID0012 or HLTAID004
  • CPR Certificate – HLTAID009 or HLTAID001
  • Paid (Employee) Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Frameworks, Regulations and Law that underpin the OSHC sector
