Your Role
An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Catholic Education Office in the position of Secondary Curriculum Consultant. This is a full-time position, commencing from January 2025, or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
The Secondary Curriculum Consultant position supports Colleges across Catholic Education - Diocese of Rockhampton by working towards a shared vision for teaching and learning, and providing leadership, expertise and advice on all aspects of teaching, learning and curriculum (such as Australian Curriculum, online learning, QCAA senior assessment and tertiary entrance processes, Vocational Education and Training, Careers Education, contemporary pedagogies, and integrated use of technologies).
The role presents a wonderful opportunity for a committed educator to influence curriculum, teaching and learning across Catholic Education, 7-12, and to provide support that can positively impact the expertise of teachers and the educational experience of students. The role has a significant focus on working with school teams to identify needs, strategise for improvement, and monitor and evaluate the impact of actions.

What we offer
- Competitive salary range - $152,594 - $169,547 (pending experience) inclusive of 12.75%

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and current Queensland College of Teachers Registration
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner, including some travel to schools within the Diocese.
