About the role
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate educator for the position of Classroom Support Assistant (First Nations Education) to join our team at St Paul's Catholic Primary School, Gracemere. This is a term time continuing position for 30hpw, commencing from as soon as able or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
Selection Criteria
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate:
- A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and spiritualities.
- An ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, their families and school staff to improve educational outcomes through targeted and direct academic support.

About You
The successful applicant will have an understanding of, and a commitment to, the ethos of Catholic education. In addition you will have excellent time management skills, well developed interpersonal skills and a high proficiency of computer skills.

Mandatory Requirements
- A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position
- Current Driver’s Licence
