Hourly rate: $43.67 - $62.90 (pending experience)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applications for the position of Kindergarten Teacher at St Francis Xavier Catholic Kindergarten, Mackay. This is a part-time position, for 20.25hpw (5 day fortnight, Thursday, Friday and alternate Wednesday), commencing from 7 October 2025 until 18 January 2026. There may also be an opportunity for part-time hours for the 2026 school year.

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- The ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration and/or relevant ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher Qualification
- Hold one of the following Child Protection competencies or willing to obtain:
- CHCPRT025—Identify and report children and young people at risk
- CHCPRT001—Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
- CHCPRT026—Support the rights and safety of children and young people
- CHCPRT002—Support the rights and safety of children and young people
- CHCECE057—Use collaborative practices to uphold child protection principles
