What we are looking for:
Applications are invited for the position of Specialist Teacher (Music/The Arts) to join the staff of Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School, Gladstone. We are seeking a specialist teacher (3 days per week or as negotiated with the successful applicant) who can plan, teach and report on curriculum for all classes from Prep through to Year 6 in the areas of Music or The Arts. Interested applicants are also welcome to express interest in the subject of Digital Technology. This is a part-time contract position, commencing from 19 January 2026 until 17 January 2027.
The successful applicant requires excellent people skills, a capacity to work as a part of a team, and the willingness to support students, staff and parents of the school. Previous experience with Music or The Arts or digital technology would be an advantage.

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
