Your Role
An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Holy Spirit College, in the position of Administration Assistant (HPE & Sports). This is a term-time continuing position for 30hpw, commencing from Term 2, 2026 (20th April 2026) or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
We are seeking applicants who have a passion for sport and who will apply a depth of knowledge and a broad range of skills to facilitate the administration and office procedures to ensure the co-ordination of secondary interschool sport.
In each of these roles the successful applicant will provide a variety of support services with a depth of knowledge and broad range of skills in order to serve the educational function of the College.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the development and management of inter-school sporting competitions involving Holy Spirit College students
- The management and co-ordination of Holy Spirit College students attending school-based sporting trials
- Liaise regularly with, and involve, school staff members in supporting, coaching and managing school sport
- Use initiative and independent judgement in dealing with concerns and queries raised by parents, staff, students and non-school based sporting organisations
- In a timely manner, communicate to parents, students and staff information regarding upcoming sports competitions
- Attend School and District meetings as a representative of the college and ensure compliance with processes as required.
- Prepare student acknowledgements for the college social media, assemblies etc.

Mandatory Requirements
- A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
