St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School aims to develop the “whole” child – intellectually, emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually. Opened in January 2015, St Brendan’s offers state of the art facilities designed to promote learning and embrace our local environment. Our classrooms have been created to ensure students and teachers have the resources and space they require on their learning journey.
Your Role
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic persons for this term-time position of Administration Secretary. This is a term-time continuing position for 35hpw, commencing as soon as possible or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
The Administration Secretary is a key role in our school office, providing exceptional customer service to new and existing families as well as supporting students, staff and the school leadership team in a variety of ways. Outstanding interpersonal skills, good attention to detail and effective organisational and technological capabilities are pre-requisites of the successful applicant.
The Administration Secretary will provide a variety of secretarial and administrative support which enables the maintenance of efficient administration systems which serve the educational function of the school.

About you
The successful applicant will have an understanding of, and a commitment to, the ethos of Catholic education. In addition, you will have excellent time management skills, well developed interpersonal skills and a high proficiency of computer skills. Experience with a student management system, such as TASS would be advantageous.

Mandatory Requirements
- A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
