Your Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an AV Technician to join the staff of Shalom College, Bundaberg. This is a full-time continuing position for 38 hpw, commencing as soon as possible or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
As an AV Technician, you will provide technical support and expertise across the College's audio visual, lighting, sound, and technology systems, ensuring equipment and services are maintained and available to support teaching, learning and College events. Your responsibilities may include:
- Maintaining and troubleshooting audio visual, lighting, sound, computer network, hardware and software systems, providing technical support to staff and students and carrying out repairs to specialised equipment as required.
- Managing AV equipment and resources, including maintaining stock registers, tracking equipment movements and ensuring all resources are well maintained, operational and current.
- Supporting College events, productions, live streams, and extracurricular activities with AV, lighting, and sound services.

- tertiary qualifications at Certificate level or equivalent knowledge, qualifications and experience relevant to this role would be highly regarded

Mandatory Requirements
- A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
