St Patrick’s College offers a unique experience for students, consisting of a dual campus concept catering exclusively for Years 7 to 10 at the Mercy Campus and Years 11 to 12 at the Senior Campus. Mackay, Queensland is located 970 kilometres north of Brisbane with a population of over 125,000. Mackay is known as the sugar capital of Australia and for our beautiful beaches and close proximity to the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsunday Islands.

What we are looking for:

Applications are invited for full-time teaching positions at St Patrick's College, Mackay, commencing from 2024. These positions may require working across both St Patrick’s College and Mercy campuses.

We are seeking a teacher who can teach any or a combination of the following subjects:

  • English
  • Mathematics

We also welcome applications from teachers who teach in other subject areas not listed above.

Teachers who have the ability and willingness to teach across a range of subjects with the capacity to take these into senior school and have a willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school are encouraged to apply.
