Hours per week: Various
Salary: $35.23 - $39.81 per hour (Casual Rate); $28.18 - $31.85 (Hourly Rate for Part-time or Full-time) (NB. pending qualifications; age based salary rates apply if under 21)

Your Role
As an Outside School Hours Care Assistant you will play a vital role in providing an engaging experience for children during before school, after school and vacation care periods. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assist with the delivery of a quality education program
- Provide direct supervision and support to all children to participate in the program
- Ensure the cleanliness of the areas utilised by Outside School Hours Care students and staff are maintained.
- Develop awareness of and ensuring the health and safety of the students in your care, including appropriately supervising children at all times.

Mandatory Requirements
- A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
- A minimum Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent (ACECQA approved qualifications) is preferred.
- First Aid Certificate, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Training (ACECQA approved)
- It is a requirement of the position that the successful applicants undertake a National Crime Check (Police Check) or provide details of a Police Check that is not more than six months old.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
