Are you an experienced Executive Assistant / Administration Manager looking for a rewarding challenge where no two days are the same?

Central Highlands Regional Council have a rare and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive Executive Assistant to support our General Manager of Infrastructure & Utilities.  We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Executive Assistant who can provide high level administrative support and lead a well developed administration team.

Your expertise and your ability to plan, coordinate and adjust to changing priorities will be highly valued. Working with us, you will provide high level support to the General Manager including:

  • Overseeing and managing appointments, meetings and requests
  • Preparing confidential reports, correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes
  • Undertaking research and providing ad-hoc project management support
  • Working in collaboration with the Area Managers and Executive Leadership Team’s Executive Assistants to support the council and its operations
  • Providing leadership and mentoring to the Administration Assistant who supports you

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • Significant experience in assisting an Executive Leader within a large, complex organisation
  • A flexible and resourceful approach and a positive attitude to competing priorities and requests
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Word and PowerPoint to prepare high quality reports and presentations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to draft responses and reports on behalf of a Senior Executive
  • A respectful and considered approach to confidential and sensitive information
