Central Highlands Regional Council is focused on continuous improvement and investing in its people. As a result, we are looking for a passionate and committed team player who is interested in redefining their current skill set and developing their knowledge and expertise in a new direction.
In this role, you will support the recruitment team by:
- Advertising job vacancies on various website and social media platforms
- Preparing and executing a range of documentation including employment contracts
- Contacting candidates to guide them through various stages of the recruitment process
- Conducting detailed reference checks
- Coordinating pre-employment and onboarding requirements
- Effective document management and recording keeping
- Completing accounts payable functions including raising purchase orders, receipting goods, processing invoices and credit card reconciliation
To be considered for this Recruitment Support Officer position, you’ll need to possess:
- Proven experience working within a fast-paced environment whilst providing exceptional customer service
- Exceptional attention to detail whilst working to deadlines in a high volume environment
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and databases and cloud-based web platforms
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, resilient, solution oriented, and creative.
- High standard of oral and written communication skills that are clear, concise and professional.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both in groups as well as independently.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Capable of searching and utilizing a wide range of social media platforms.
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers licence.
