Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking an Application System Analyst who has a passion for Process improvement and service delivery.
The Applications Support Analyst will drive the advancement of system applications which enable efficient and effective business outcomes within council. With the implementation of TechnologyOne OneCouncil CiAnywhere software as an enterprise platform, the role will assist the Coordinator Corporate Applications to progress improved business outcomes enhancing service delivery and end to end customer outcomes through software enablement.
In this busy role, you will support the organisation by:
- Providing financial support enhancements
- Supply Chain Management
- Support and assist with month end and year end activities
- Liaise with third parties for level 3 support and software fixes
- Support, assist and provide project delivery.
- Working collaboratively across the organisation, sharing knowledge and experiences. Identification of potential opportunities for innovation and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Council’s operations.
- To actively participate in ongoing training and self-development to achieve continuous improvement for yourself and council.
- Taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others, complying with reasonable instruction and cooperating with CHRC policy and procedure per ‘Duties of a Worker’ contained in the Work Health and Safety Act as amended.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional driver’s licence.
- A total of 6 years qualification and experience in a relevant discipline with experience and expertise to undertake the range of activities required.
- Experience with ERP support, specifically TechnologyOne - OneCouncil
- Experience supporting finance and supply chain management
- Strong attention to detail, communication and customer service skills
- Good understanding of service desk or information technology service management governance process
- Excellent communication, oral and written communication skills.
