Join a team that’s shaping the image of a progressive and dynamic region. As the Senior Public Relations Officer (Digital), you’ll lead the creation of engaging, high-quality digital content and storytelling that connects with our communities and strengthens Council’s public profile.
As Senior Public Relations Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and managing digital media strategies, producing creative multimedia content, and ensuring consistent brand management across all communication channels. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll collaborate with a passionate communications team to deliver innovative, audience-focused campaigns that make an impact.
In this role, you will:

Develop and deliver targeted digital communications across web, social and multimedia platforms.

Produce creative and engaging content including photography, videography, graphic design and digital editing.

Drive innovation through emerging technologies and creative tools to enhance Council’s reach and engagement.

Build strong relationships across the organisation and community to promote Council’s initiatives and values.

Uphold Council’s brand standards and provide professional PR advice and support to stakeholders.
What you’ll bring:

Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Media, Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers' licence.

Proven experience in public relations, digital media, and storytelling across multiple channels.

Advanced technical skills in photography, videography, graphic design, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Excellent writing, editing and content creation skills.

A collaborative, innovative and proactive approach to communication.
