Are you passionate about the development of employees through the delivery of effective training? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Training and Development Team as a Supervisor!
As the Supervisor, Training and Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce. You’ll lead the coordination, delivery, and evaluation of training initiatives that drive professional growth, compliance, and capability across the organisation. With a strong focus on people leadership, you will guide, mentor, and develop a small specialist team responsible for delivering corporate, compliance, and VET training. You will oversee eLearning, online, and in-person programs that support the diverse needs of our workforce, ensuring initiatives are practical, effective, and aligned with organisational priorities. You will champion collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, strengthening a team culture that consistently delivers high-quality outcomes and strengthens workforce performance.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or significant experience in a similar role.
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional driver’s licence
- Demonstrated understanding of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, including compliance requirements, qualification frameworks and training delivery standards.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and training, development and assessment trends, challenges and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with training providers, instructors, subject-matter experts, employees and trainees in order to effectively deliver training objectives and learning outcomes for both the individual and the organisation
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to foster and maintain productive working relationships with senior managers, employees, key stakeholders and customers, including the ability to communicate, negotiate and work collaboratively across all levels and sectors within an organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, plan and set priorities and organise own work to achieve individual and department objectives within agreed timeframes.
