Remuneration: Stream A, Level 5-7: $97,243.37 - $118,511.00 per annum + superannuation
As a Human Resources Advisor, you will provide high-quality advice, coaching and support to leaders and employees across a broad range of strategic and operational HR matters. Working collaboratively within the Human Resources team, you will help ensure HR services are delivered consistently, accurately and in a timely manner, while supporting leaders to build capable, engaged and high-performing teams.
This role is ideal for a pragmatic HR professional who enjoys working in a complex and evolving environment, values strong relationships, and is committed to delivering professional, customer-focused HR services aligned with organisational values and legislative requirements.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional driver's licence.
- Ability to interpret and apply employment legislation, awards and agreements accurately or ability to identify relevant legislation.
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to coach and build relationships.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels and influence people management decisions
LEVEL 5
Mandatory:
- Demonstrated experience in a human resources support or generalist role.
- Knowledge of employment and industrial relations legislation, local government legislation, and awards.
- Ability to assist with workplace investigations under guidance.
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to build positive relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing documents and responding to queries.
- Ability to communicate effectively in routine situations requiring tact and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
LEVEL 6
Mandatory:
- Substantial experience in a human resources generalist role, including advisory responsibilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment and industrial relations legislation, local government legislation, and awards.
- Experience in conducting workplace investigations of low to moderate complexity.
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information to groups.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in situations requiring assertiveness and diplomacy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including unions.
LEVEL 7
Mandatory:
- Considerable demonstrated experience in a similar human resources generalist or industrial relations focused role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current employment and industrial relations legislation, local government legislation and awards.
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking workplace investigations.
- Excellent customer service skills, including advocacy and negotiation skills.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information in a group setting.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in situations requiring assertiveness, influencing and tact.
- Intermediate Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience working collaboratively with external stakeholders including unions.
