Remuneration: Stream A, Level 3-4: $ 96,765.51 - $110,927.30 per annum inclusive of superannuation & allowances + 5% increase as of July 2026.

As our next Project Support Officer, you’ll be the financial heartbeat behind our capital delivery projects. You’ll help ensure Council’s long-term sustainability by providing sharp advice, practical expertise, and hands-on support across costing, financial administration, procurement, and project information management.

Working with us, you will have the opportunity to:

Monitor and analyse financial data of projects to ensure accuracy

Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders on financial position status of projects

Collate relevant data to produce accurate and high-level financial reports both on a recurring and adhoc basis

Provide comprehensive, efficient, and confidential administrative services to the Project Delivery Team.

Establish, build, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external parties
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers licence.

Experience in reporting on expenditure and providing evidence to comply with grant funding agreements.

Relevant experience in project cost management

Time management skills, with the ability to organise and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines/timeframes.

Record-keeping capabilities, attention to detail and well-developed written and oral communication skills.

Above and beyond approach to teamwork, customer service and community support.

Well-developed computer skills and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications.
