Remuneration: Stream A, Level 3-4: $104,052.59 - 118,898.06 per annum inclusive of superannuation and allowances (Annual Salary increase of 5% from 1st July 2026)

 

Central Highlands Regional Council is currently looking for a highly experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the Infrastructure team. Based out of Capella, this role involves the physical delivery and day to day management of maintenance operations on council’s urban road, drainage, footpath and cycle way networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and leading the crew to ensure effective delivery of maintenance projects
  • Monitor and control project budgets
  • Establish, build, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external parties
  • Contribute to a positive, safe, and effective working environment and culture

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role involving supervision of a work team and plant equipment within a road construction or maintenance setting
  • Extensive understanding of quality control practices and testing
  • Knowledge of construction compliance specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Cert III Civil Construction or relevant experience
  • Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers licence.
  • General Construction Induction Card.
