Central Highlands Regional Council is focused on continuous improvement and investing in its people. As a result, we are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Administration Assistant to support our Communities team on a part time basis.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, results driven and have an enthusiastic approach to customer service. You will also have exceptional attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to be adaptable to accommodate continuous changing priorities. Your well rounded written and verbal communication skills will see you succeed in assisting the team with day to day tasks and specific projects.
You will provide high level administration support to the Communities team by:
- Completing accounts payable functions including raising purchase orders, receipting goods, processing invoices and credit card reconciliation
- Providing comprehensive, accurate and timely administrative support to compile documents, reports and submissions
- Effective document management and record keeping
- Preparing confidential documents, meeting agendas and minutes
- End to end organisation of meetings, events and travel bookings
- Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers to resolve queries
- Providing administration support across diverse business units within the Communities team
Ideally you will be available to work 8.30am to 3.00pm, three (3) days each week, however this can be negotiated with the successful applicant.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Minimum of Queensland C Class Provisional Licence
- A high degree of competency utilising Microsoft Office suit and other computer programs
