Remuneration: Stream A, Level 2: $69,241.44 - $73,752.91 + Superannuation

Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Administration Assistant to support our Commercial & Corporate Services team.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, results driven and have an enthusiastic approach to customer service. 

You will also have exceptional attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to be adaptable to accommodate continuous changing priorities.

You will provide high level support to the Commercial and Corporate Services team by:

  • Completing accounts payable functions including raising purchase orders, receipting goods and credit card reconciliation
  • Preparing confidential documents, meeting agendas and minutes
  • End to end organisation of meetings and events
  • Assisting with Calendar and Email management for the General Manager
  • Providing administration support to a diverse management team

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in assisting a large, complex organisation
  • A flexible and resourceful approach and a positive attitude to competing priorities and requests
  • A high degree of competency utilising Microsoft Office suit and other computer programs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively assist various managers with day to day tasks and specific projects
  • A respectful and considered approach to confidential and sensitive information 
  • C Class Drivers Licence
