Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Administration Assistant to support our Commercial & Corporate Services team.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, results driven and have an enthusiastic approach to customer service.
You will also have exceptional attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to be adaptable to accommodate continuous changing priorities.
You will provide high level support to the Commercial and Corporate Services team by:
- Completing accounts payable functions including raising purchase orders, receipting goods and credit card reconciliation
- Preparing confidential documents, meeting agendas and minutes
- End to end organisation of meetings and events
- Assisting with Calendar and Email management for the General Manager
- Providing administration support to a diverse management team
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Demonstrated experience in assisting a large, complex organisation
- A flexible and resourceful approach and a positive attitude to competing priorities and requests
- A high degree of competency utilising Microsoft Office suit and other computer programs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively assist various managers with day to day tasks and specific projects
- A respectful and considered approach to confidential and sensitive information
- C Class Drivers Licence
