Due to an internal secondment, Central Highlands Regional Council has an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Projects Advisor to work directly with the CEO based in Emerald. We are looking for a proactive and experienced individual to project manage a variety of strategic projects that will positively support the central highlands region.
In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to the CEO, responsible for the planning and delivery of a wide range of projects by:
- Building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Researching and drafting submissions for consideration
- Developing and implementing detailed project plans
- Preparing reports on progress updates and initiatives
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Well developed project management and implementation experience
- Expertise in business case development for complex projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to consult with all levels of staff
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and capacity to make informed judgements
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent extensive experience in business case development in a large complex organisation
- Minimum of a Queensland class C provisional drivers’ licence
