Remuneration: Stream A, Level 7 - 8: $102,145.95 - $123,191.75 per annum + superannuation

Central Highlands Regional Council has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join the Water Utilities team.  Based out of Emerald QLD, this position will have a proactive, collaborative and efficiency focused approach towards developing and implementing the Water Utilities planned maintenance program.  

In this full-time fixed term position, you will be responsible for developing Water Utilities maintenance plans and configuring Council's system with the new maintenance plans and schedule.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in the development of maintenance plans and schedules, preferably for water and wastewater infrastructure, however individuals with industrial or mining equipment experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Ability to understand legislative compliance or standards and councils’ utility service level obligations with respect to customer, drinking water quality, environment, and safety
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of a maintenance management system (i.e., SAP, Maximo, Technology One OneCouncil etc.)
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and experience creating and using spreadsheets
  • Minimum of Queensland C class provisional manual drivers’ licence
  • General Construction Induction Card
