Plant Operator Labourer - Maintenance Urban

Remuneration:  $32.25 p/h plus penalties & allowances

Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking Plant Operator / Labourer’s to join the Infrastructure team based in Blackwater. These position’s are responsible for performing a diverse range of labouring duties as well as operating small plant equipment to assist in the maintenance of road and town facilities.

In this role you will be a valued member of a well-established team and have the opportunity to continue to develop your skills within a supportive environment.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • A positive and flexible approach towards a range of labouring and operating tasks on small plant equipment
  • Willingness to work on rural job sites which will involve staying in a camp environment when required
  • Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
  • Current Queensland Class C Drivers Licence
  • Construction White Card

Having the following licences/tickets are not essential, but would be beneficial:

  • Statement of Attainment or tickets for various small plant equipment
  • Heavy Rigid or Multi-combination Vehicle Licence
  • Traffic Controller Ticket
  • Current First Aid or CPR Certificate
  • Chainsaw/pole saw operation ticket
