Central Highlands Regional Council are currently seeking a Kiosk (Café) Assistants who are looking to build a career in a dynamic and rewarding environment alongside the professional team at the Emerald Airport Kiosk. In these Permanent Part Time roles, you can expect to be rostered between 6.00am - 7.00pm Monday to Sunday, typically working between 20 - 30 hours per week. To ensure a work life balance, you would be rostered alternative weekends.
In this busy role, you will support the organisation by:
- Providing exceptional customer service to the diverse airport kiosk customer base; welcoming, professional and friendly.
- Utilising your existing experience to prepare a range of food and beverages, complying with food handling, sanitation and Responsible Serving of Alcohol requirements and standards.
- Assisting with stock ordering and merchandising of food and beverage products and operating the point of sales system.
- Conducting daily maintenance and cleaning of the Kiosk area, equipment and the surrounding terminal environment.
- Building positive and effective working relationships with your the team and provide support to the wider Emerald Airport team as directed.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional driver’s license.
- Food Handling / Safety Certificate and Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, or have the ability to obtain
- ASIC Card, or have the ability to obtain.
- Experience working in the hospitality industry or a customer service background
- Flexibility to work various shifts including some weekend work.
