Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your civil construction skills within a highly collaborative team?
Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking a roller operator to join the Infrastructure Team in Duaringa. This role you will be required to undertake plant operation and laboring duties to assist in the construction & maintenance of road and town facilities across the Central Highlands region.
In this role you will be a valued member of a well-established team and have the opportunity to continue to develop your skills within a supportive environment.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- A positive and flexible approach towards a range of operating and labouring tasks
- Willingness to work on rural job sites which will involve staying in a camp environment when required
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Current Queensland Class C Drivers Licence
- Statement of Attainment or Ticket for Roller Operations.
- Construction White Card
Having the following licences/ tickets are not essential, but would be beneficial:
- Statement of Attainment or tickets for various small plant equipment
- Heavy Rigid or Multi-combination Vehicle Licence
- Traffic Controller Ticket
- Current First Aid or CPR Certificate
