Central Highlands Regional Council is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Training and Development Officer to join our Training & Development team.
The successful applicant will be results driven, highly organised and have an enthusiastic approach to scheduling and delivering a diverse range of training for our employees. You will also have exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing business priorities and learner needs.
In this busy role, your will support the organisation by:
- Assisting with monitoring and maintaining council’s corporate & compliance training calendar
- Fostering business partnering relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Researching, scheduling and coordinating training to meet legislative compliance requirements
- Managing and actioning enquiries and requests from stakeholders whilst providing excellent customer service
- Ensuring data integrity and effective record management
- Providing regular reporting and analysis of training and development activities
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Strong administration skills with the ability to coordinate events with excellent attention to detail
- A high degree of competency utilising Microsoft Office suite ideally with programs such as excel and smart sheet
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A respectful and considered approach to confidential and sensitive information
- A flexible approach to changing priorities
- QLD Drivers Licence
