Remuneration: Stream A, Level 1.6 - 2: $35.99 - $39.12 per hour + Superannuation 

Central Highlands Regional Council has an exciting new opportunity for a part time Creditors Officer to join the team based in Springsure. In this role you will be required to undertake a range of tasks including processing invoices and ensuring they are tax compliant, reconciliations, data entry, payment processing on a regular basis, attending to enquiries from both internal & external stakeholders and supporting the day to day running of the creditors team.  

The successful applicants will have an exceptional eye for detail, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team.   

These positions will be preferably based in Springsure and have the ability to work 4 days per week during school hours. 
 
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess: 

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative or finance based position  
  • A customer centric approach to responding to enquiries 
  • Meticulous attention to detail 
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise competing tasks 
  • A high degree of competency utilising Microsoft Suit including MS Excel 
  • Minimum Queensland C Class Provisional Drivers Licence
