A rare and exciting opportunity has become available within the Central Highlands Regional Council for a Library Officer to join the Emerald team in a full time capacity.
As the successful applicant, you will bring a proactive and enthusiastic approach to the delivery of library services in order to provide a positive and welcoming environment for our community. This varied role includes library operations, administration, accounts and processing of invoices, digital marketing, facilities monitoring, as well as facilitating programs, services and events in the community.
In this role you will be a valued member of a well-established team and have the opportunity to continue to develop your skills within a supportive environment.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need;
- A positive and flexible approach towards the varied responsibilities within the library
- The ability to troubleshoot and assist with basic technology queries from the community
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Current Queensland Class C Drivers Licence
- Queensland working with children blue card or the ability to obtain prior to commencement
- First Aid Certificate or the ability to obtain
- Justice of the Peace - Queensland or ability to obtain

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need;
- Competent on a wide range of Microsoft Programs.
- Previous experience in customer service, library and/or other related disciplines.
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Current Queensland Class C Drivers Licence
- Queensland working with children blue card or the ability to obtain
