Would you like to be part of the Communities Project Delivery team who are dedicated on delivering programs of work that support one of Queensland’s largest council territories?
Central Highlands Regional Council is committed on delivering value to its community. As a result, we are looking for a Project Costing Officers to join Community Project Delivery Team based in Emerald on a maximum term basis.
In this role you will assist the Communities Project Delivery team in day to day costing/financials, project administration, procurement and ensuring the service provided is effective, timely and accurate.
As Project Costing Office you will be responsible for assisting with the ordering, purchasing and supply of project requirements to allow capital delivery-related work to proceed in a timely manner.
Working with us, you will have the opportunity to:

Monitor and analyse financial data of projects to ensure accuracy

Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders on financial position status of projects

Collate relevant data to produce accurate and high-level financial reports both on a recurring and adhoc basis

Provide comprehensive, efficient, and confidential administrative services to the Communities Project Delivery Team.

Establish, build, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external parties
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers licence.

Demonstrated experience in project cost management

A proven ability to analyse large amounts of data

A positive attitude to competing priorities and requests

Ability to work autonomously and deliver outcomes

Advanced systems and Microsoft Suite expertise

Proactive organisational skills with exceptional attention to details

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
