10483 Resource Recovery Attendant

Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking a highly motivated Resource Recovery Attendant to join their well-developed team providing exceptional customer service and waste management to the local community.

This is a hands-on role where you will be required to undertake a range of labouring and maintenance duties at the Council’s waste facilities. Although these roles are based from Emerald there may be times where you are required to travel between various sites across the region.

There is opportunity to work a rotating roster which allows for fantastic work life balance.

In this busy role, your daily activities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to the public
  • Undertaking physical tasks for the operation and maintenance of the waste transfer facilities
  • Operating mobile plant equipment

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • Experience in a similar position carrying out physical tasks
  • Ability to work a rotating roster (4:4 one month, 5:3 one month, rotating)
  • Sound written and oral communication skills
  • Positive customer service centric approach
  • Current Queensland HR Drivers Licence
  • General Construction Induction Card
  • Statement of attainment or ticket for Integrated Tool Carrier (IT Loader) or ability to obtain within 3 months of commencement.
